I discovered a great cafe and had the chance of chatting with the owner, Jeff. He’s particular about every detail—not just the design, but also the food, service, and overall experience. I’ve been there three times, and each visit has been great. Jeff is an entrepreneur who really understands what makes a place unique, and it shows in everything he does, right down to the excellent coffee. The atmosphere is unique—it’s built from bamboo, so you feel like you’re in another world. I also checked out the rooms next door, which are definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a different kind of stay. Overall, the combination of delicious food, great coffee, and Jeff’s personal touch makes every visit special. I’ll definitely be back!

Cocoon Cafe is truly a hidden gem right next to Jungle Padel. The coffee is excellent — smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. The team is warm and humble, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels genuine and relaxed. What surprised us most was the food — the quality is top-notch. Everything we tried was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. You can tell they really pay attention to ingredients and presentation. Highly recommended if you’re in the area, whether you’re coming for a post-padel break or just looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy great food and coffee.

Lovely hidden gem in Kedungu. We stumbled upon this place by chance. A must visit for their coffee and stunning view by the paddy field and amazing bamboo decor. Would definitely be back here in the future!

we just discovered this place recently and surprisingly its really close from our villa. pet friendly and good food. also ricefields ambiance make it more lovely. their coconut is the NICEST coconut ever! its really difficult to find really cold coconut, but they have really cold coconut here! really fresh!!! cant wait to come back

An amazing hidden gem in the heart of Kedungu, just behind Jungle Padel. Stunning traditional bamboo building, overlooking rice fields. Excellent service and a great choice of delicious foods, including some vegan and vegetarian options. We took some friends from overseas there and they were very impressed.

Great breakfast and the staff were very friendly, happy and helpful. Smoothie bowl was beautiful and coffee was very good, recommend this cafe highly. The scenery and setting also speaks for itself, it is a must visit if visiting or staying the in the area!
